Monday's agriculture website - Common Ground

When it comes to getting information, what's better than going to the source? A group of farm women have come together and formed the group called Common Ground. The goal of the women is to start a conversation between the women who grow food, and the women who buy it. The website shares recipes and events where consumers can meet farm women. The site also lists food facts and their reference sources.

Monday's agriculture website of interest: AMERICAN AGRI-WOMEN

Today's agricultural website of interest is American Agri-Women. The organization was founded in 1974 by four state women’s agriculture groups. Today, American Agri-Women has 50 state and commodity affiliate organizations as well as individual members throughout the country, representing tens of thousands of women involved in agriculture. Members continue to be actively involved in making a difference in legislative and regulatory matters at the local, state, and national levels. They have also been instrumental in student and consumer education about agriculture, having initiated the Agriculture in the Classroom program at the national level are integrally involved in national and state programs still today.
