On this Memorial Day, I would like to take a moment and encourage everyone to remember the reason and importance of this day: to pay honor to the men and woman who have died in military service to this country. The site also reminds us that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans "To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to 'Taps."
