Today's art related website to share is the blog actively detailing the restoration of Vincent van Gogh's masterpiece, "The Bedroom." The restoration is being done by the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. While most of the website is written in Dutch, the blog detailing the steps in restoring the painting is written in English.The painting was created by Van Gogh in 1888 to 1889 while in France during which time he shared a house with fellow painter Paul Gauguin. The painting has been restored once, in 1930, but museum curators wanted to do a second restoration to prevent further degradation.
